Jacob Turns 5

This has been one of the longest weeks starting with Monday when Jacob got sick. We decided to give him an early birthday present (walkie talkies) since he was sick and had to spend a lot of the time in his room to keep Sarah from catching it. The best part of his walkie talkies are picking up CB's going down the highway! We prayed all week that Jacob would get better so he could have his birthday party and Saturday his fever finally broke!!! We surprised him on Saturday by taking him to the pet store and letting him pick out any pet he wanted - he a got a gerbil! Sunday we celebrated all day starting at 6:30 a.m. he got his few other gifts and then it was off to Sunday School in which he told everyone he saw that it was his birthday. Then it was off to his favorite restaurant Red Robin for lunch and party time with my family and then on to the firehouse for the kids birthday party! All in all it was a great day!!!
